About This Trek
Char Dham Yatra is one of the most sacred pilgrimage circuits in India, covering four holy shrines nestled in the Himalayas of Uttarakhand — Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. Each dham represents a different spiritual source: Yamunotri (origin of River Yamuna), Gangotri (origin of River Ganga), Kedarnath (a Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva), and Badrinath (dedicated to Lord Vishnu). The yatra combining scenic mountain drives, short treks, and high-altitude temple visits, with Kedarnath located at 11,755 ft and accessible via a 16 km trek. Best time to undertake the Char Dham Yatra is May to June and September to October, avoiding the monsoon season. Pilgrims not only seek blessings but also experience the raw beauty and spiritual energy of the Himalayas.

Pending Refund: Any refund pending on your booking will be credited to the same mode of payment through which you paid in 5-7 working days after refund is initiated.
Bypass Policy: Any and all Cancellation Policies are superseded by the Emergency Case Cancellation Policy in case of situations such as war, pandemics, force majeure, or similar extraordinary events affecting the tour region.
Trek Suspension & Cancellation Policy – Bengaluru Trekkers
At Bengaluru Yatris, your safety is our highest priority. We rarely cancel or suspend treks. However, in exceptional circumstances where conducting the trek safely is not possible, we may be forced to cancel or modify the trek.
If a trek is cancelled by Bengaluru Yatris due to force majeure, natural calamities (such as continuous heavy rain, floods, landslides, thunderstorms, earthquakes, forest fires, or any other natural disaster), forest department restrictions, government orders, wildlife movement, political unrest, road closures, pandemics, or any other unforeseen situation that compromises the safety of the group, participants will receive a Bengaluru Trekkers Credit Voucher equivalent to the trek fee paid (excluding payment gateway charges, taxes, permits, and any non-refundable third-party charges, if applicable).
The voucher can be used to book any Bengaluru Trekkers event within 12 months from the date of issue.
Important Note 1
If the entire group is required to abandon the trek after the trek has commenced due to unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather, trail damage, withdrawal of forest permissions, government restrictions, or any other safety-related reason, no refund or voucher will be issued, as the trek has already been operationally conducted.
Important Note 2
No refund, voucher, or transfer will be provided if a participant is unable to complete the trek due to personal reasons, including but not limited to:
- Insufficient fitness or inability to maintain the group's pace.
- Illness, injury, altitude sickness, dehydration, or any medical condition.
- Violation of trek rules, including consumption of alcohol, smoking, use of prohibited substances, or misconduct.
- Voluntarily choosing to discontinue the trek.
- Any other personal reason requiring early exit from the trek.
In such cases, any additional transportation or evacuation expenses, if required, shall be borne by the participant.

Balance Payment Deadline: The balance amount must be paid within the specified deadline to confirm your trek booking. If the balance payment is not received on time, the team reserves the right to cancel the booking without prior notice, and the applicable cancellation/refund policy will apply.
