About This Trek
The Kedarnath trip is for one of Uttarakhand’s most sacred and scenic Himalayan pilgrimages. Starting from Gaurikund, the 16 km Kedarnath trek takes you through alpine forests, waterfalls, and snow-clad peaks to the revered Kedarnath Temple at 11,755 ft, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Best time to visit is May–June and September–October for pleasant weather and clear skies, avoiding the monsoon.
